Safety & Trust
Care you can feel confident about
At Applella, safety isn’t a feature. It’s a responsibility. When someone invites us into their home or trusts us with the care of a loved one, we take that trust seriously.
Our services are built on personal accountability, clear communication, and thoughtful safeguards designed to help clients and families feel informed, respected, and secure.
Background checks and screening
All individuals providing services through Applella are required to complete a background check as part of our commitment to trusted care.
While background checks are an important safeguard, they are not a guarantee of safety and may not capture an individual’s entire history. We believe transparency matters, which is why we combine screening with personal accountability, local knowledge, and ongoing communication.
Insurance and accountability
Applella is fully licensed and insured. This coverage helps protect both clients and the business and is part of operating responsibly within our community.
Communication and care updates
Clear communication is an important part of safety and peace of mind.
Depending on the service and client preferences, Applella may provide:
Text message updates when services take place inside or outside the home
Updates to family members who live out of town and want to stay informed about a loved one’s care
We work with each client and family to set expectations around communication so updates feel helpful, not intrusive.
Respect for privacy
We treat client information with care and discretion. Any personal details shared with us are used only to support services and communication related to care.
Working with external providers
Applella does not employ external company employees and is not responsible for the conduct of any user of our site.
If, at any point, clients choose to work with external companies or service providers, we encourage them to perform their own due diligence to ensure the caregiver or service is appropriate for their needs and complies with applicable laws.
Our commitment to trusted care
We believe safety is built through:
Honesty about what we offer
Clear expectations and boundaries
Thoughtful screening
Consistent communication
A genuine commitment to our neighbors
We will continue to evolve our safety practices as Applella grows, always with the goal of providing care that feels dependable, respectful, and worthy of trust.
