From the bayous of deep South Louisiana to the wide-open Texas coast, water has always been home to me, and it’s always had a way of calming my soul.
I moved to Texas to raise a family, and years ago we came to Bolivar for a vacation, but my heart never really left. What started as a dream to own a little place by the beach turned into a life I wouldn’t trade. I’ve now called the Peninsula home for more than 20 years, and I truly can’t imagine a better place to live.
My love for Bolivar goes beyond the shoreline. It’s the people, the familiar faces, and the way neighbors show up for one another. I care deeply for this community, and I’m here to extend real, dependable support to meet everyday needs, so my neighbors can keep living comfortably, safely, and fully right here in the place they love.
Hi, I’m Pamela Scott.
The Story Behind Applella:
My aunt once heard something playful inside my name “Pamela.” She smiled and said: “une pomme means apple in French.” The name softened over time, turning from Pamela to Pomela, and finally to Applella.
It was affection. A name said in ordinary moments that made them feel safer. And little by little, it stopped being just a nickname and became something else entirely, a reminder of where love lived and how gently it once called my name.
We built Applella to share that same sense of love, security, and family with people who need support, whether they’re aging in place, recovering from illness, living with disability, or simply navigating a season of life that calls for an extra hand. We’re also here for visitors, helping with errands and everyday tasks so you can spend less time managing and more time enjoying Bolivar.
